Roasted Chick Peas with a little spice

I reach for these before a bag of chips. We love this healthy snack!

Ingredients

1 16 ounce can Garbanzo beans
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon  pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Rinse chick peas and pat dry, very dry.
  • Combine dry spices and olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Coat dried chick peas with spice mixture.
  •  Place chick peas on a baking sheet covered in aluminum foil in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes shaking the pan to turn them every 10 min.
  • Remove from oven and eat when warm or they can be stored in an air tight container for about 5 days.
